Anurag Agarwal urges all voters to ensure their participation in the festival of democracy on May 25

May 24 2024 , Haryana – Haryana’s Chief Electoral Officer, Sh. Anurag Agarwal, emphasized that in a democratic system, the public is paramount, and every single vote holds great significance. Therefore, all voters should ensure their participation in the festival of democracy on May 25. Casting a vote is their right. The opportunity to vote in an election comes once every five years. We should not miss this chance but instead, feel proud by strengthening democracy through voting.

The Chief Electoral Officer stated that our country has a large number of young people, that is the reason why India is called a young nation.  Urging the youth, he said that if they want to keep their voices strong, they should ensure their participation by exercising their franchise. The constitution has given everyone the equal right to vote. Under the SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) campaign, women are being informed that their vote is as valuable as that of men. Therefore, they should actively participate in the biggest festival of democracy and, without any fear, use their vote to choose the right candidate.
