SAS Nagar, May 21, 2024 – To boost the Green Election concept as directed by the Election Commission of India and put forth by the Election Observer, Anandpur Sahib, Dr Heera Lal, the lead Bank of District SAS Nagar, Punjab National Bank launched the green drive in banks from its Circle Office situated in Phase 2 of Mohali.
Divulging the details, the District Lead Bank Manager, M K. Bharadwaj said that as a part of SVEEP activities being run in the district under the leadership of DC-cum-DEO SAS Nagar, Mrs Aashika Jain, lead bank, Punjab National Bank is committed to make the drive as a mass movement in District Mohali Banks.
He said that the first launch event was inaugurated by Sanjit Koundal, Deputy Circle Head PNB in the presence of staff and customers present there and saplings were planted in the clay pots inside the
premises.
The staff took an oath to ensure plastic-free bank premises and further boost the
concept of Green Election to other branches.
M K Bhardwaj, LDM Mohali said that this initiative will be spread in all the
482 bank branches in Mohali by adding that during the coming 10 days all the
branches will ensure the success of this event in a campaign mode.
