91 year old Santosh Sood exercised voting right

May 20, 2024, Sirsa–  The voter awareness campaign in Sirsa district, conducted according to the orders of the Election Commission of India, is showing positive results. The Sirsa district administration has made arrangements for Persons with Disability (PwD) and voters over 85 years old to vote from home. Under this arrangement, teams are reaching voters’ homes for voting.

On Saturday, 91-year-old Santosh Sood exercised her voting rights. By casting her vote, she set an example for everyone. She said that this initiative by the Election Commission of India is very good. Santosh Sood’s family members expressed their gratitude to the Election Commission of India and District Election Officer, Sh. R.K. Singh for facilitating her home voting.
