Citizens Vigilant: Reporting Model Code of Conduct Violations Ahead of Haryana Elections

16 May 2024, Haryana – The Chief Electoral Officer said that the voters in the state are also showing great awareness regarding the Model Code of Conduct. Citizens are sending complaints of violations of the Model Code of Conduct to the Commission through the C-Vigil mobile app. As soon as they get information about any violation of the Model Code of Conduct, they immediately send their complaints to the Election Commission. These complaints are resolved within 100 minutes, shared Sh. Anurag Agarwal.

He said that it is a matter of pride that the general public is ensuring their participation in the system through the C-Vigil mobile app. He also appealed to the voters to definitely participate in democracy by casting their votes on May 25.
