May 09, 2024 HARYANA , May 9 – Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) is committed to providing uninterrupted power supply to the consumers. Many ambitious programs are being run by the Corporation for quick resolution of human problems. Chairman and Member Forum of Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum of North Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation Circle Forum, Panchkula, the proceedings of the forum will be held on May 14, 2024 in the office of Superintending Engineer, Panchkula, Panchkula.
Giving information about this, a spokesperson of UHBVN said that the members of the forum will hear all types of problems of the consumers of Panchkula district. These mainly include complaints related to: billing, voltage, metering, disconnection and connection, interruptions in power supply, efficiency, safety and non-compliance of orders of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission etc. However, the forum will not hear the penalty and fine in cases of electricity theft and unauthorized use of electricity under Section 126 and Section 135 to 139 of the Electricity Act and cases related to investigation and accidents under Section 161.
