Air India Express Airlines fired 25 employees who went on mass leave

9 May 2024 – Air India Express Airlines has taken a tough stand against the employees who went on mass leave and expelled 25 employees. Sources associated with the airlines say that the employees who have been expelled did not report for duty and their behavior was also not good.

It is noteworthy that many Air India Express flights had to be cancelled due to a large number of employees taking mass leave. Due to this, air passengers had to face a lot of trouble. The company will issue a statement shortly amid the ongoing tension with the employees.

Cabin crew of Tata Group owned Air India Express Airlines fired 25 employees who went on mass leave took mass leave on Wednesday in protest against alleged mismanagement. More than 200 employees taking leave together had a serious impact on the company’s flight operations and the company had to cancel more than 100 flights. Due to this, air passengers had to face a lot of trouble. According to media reports, about 15 thousand passengers were affected due to the almost halting of Air India Express operations on Tuesday. Air India Express operates the largest number of flights to the Gulf countries. In such a situation, due to shortage of cabin crew, many flights going from India to Gulf countries were cancelled. Air India Express operates around 360 flights daily domestically and internationally.
