Chandigarh, May 6 – Haryana’s J.C. Multinational companies have started showing interest in the placement of skilled students in the Community College of Skill Development (CCSD) Faridabad run by Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad. Shigan Group, a global manufacturing company providing solutions to the automobile industry, has selected 51 students from various B.Voc courses studying in the community college in a recent placement drive organized by the university. These students are pursuing B.Voc in Electrical, Automobile and Manufacturing courses.
Community College is an innovative approach of the University to provide skill based education and training to underprivileged youth, with the aim of empowering the youth, especially those who come from rural backgrounds, to enter the local industries through proper skill based education and right training.
